Bio-Energetic-Synchronization Technique – B.E.S.T

- Personally trained by Dr. M.T. Morter

  • Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique (B.E.S.T.) A complete system of health care featuring the original sensory-specific technique; an astounding nutrition program based on acid/alkaline balance; and guidelines for the correct choices to make in the Six Essentials for Life (what you eat, what you drink, how you exercise, how you rest, what you breathe and what you think).

  • Physical B.E.S.T. is a non-forceful, energy balancing hands on procedure used to help reestablish the full healing potential of the body. Understanding the body makes no mistakes regarding health and longevity, B.E.S.T. principles acknowledge the concept of Interference we create with our conscious mind. This Interference caused imbalance in the autonomic nervous system leading to exhaustion of our organ systems over time. Researched at major universities, taught in several Chiropractic Colleges and in professional continuing education seminars, B.E.S.T. is recognized as an effective healing science. The principles and concepts of Morter HealthSystem and B.E.S.T. technique are available to families, therapists and health care practitioners.

  • Emotional B.E.S.T. utilizes advanced technology developed to update higher brain interference from expression in the physical body. When emotional thoughts such as worry, guilt, fear, judgment, to name just a few, become the overriding factor in our memory patterns, interference with the divine plan for our perfect health and wellness becomes the norm. This interference, formulated by conscious thought which in turn becomes a pattern, prevents the true expression of our physical bodies healing capability. Emotional B.E.S.T. is an advanced procedure to help identify this emotional pattern, update the interference, and then allow the body to function based on current situations rather than past experiences. This is the core of B.E.S.T. technology. This is the pattern for health and wellness. The pattern unlocks the power. This procedure can be utilized by both practitioners and patients depending on their level of expertise and usually takes between 5-15 minutes to complete.

Pain Neutralization Technique - PNT

- Personally trained by Dr. Stephen Kauffman

KAUFMAN TECHNIQUE by Stephen Kaufman, D.C.

(Text from Stephen Kaufman, D.C.)

My name is Dr. Stephen Kaufman. I've been practicing for more than 25 years. When I was in school, I saw many students getting adjusted every day, several times a day, and yet they STILL had constant chronic pain. I myself had chronic neck and low back pain, in spite of frequent chiropractic treatment. Although I've seen many patients helped by chiropractic care, many more were not, at least not long term.

I started treating trigger points and myofascial pain in 1974. (A trigger point is an area in a muscle that’s painful when pressed; it very often causes a patient’s pain or other symptoms.) I was often frustrated when patients came in with severe pain. I soon found that if I couldn’t help their pain quickly they would go somewhere else. Other patients would stay with me for years and I grew to like them, but I felt guilty when I didn’t really make a change in their chronic pain.

I always wondered if there weren’t something like a “magic switch” that could turn off trigger points and pain like a light. In 1989 I set out on a research project to find this “Holy Grail”. The goal: find some way to easily turn off trigger points and pain on the spot, by removing the cause, using only light pressure on neurological reflexes. It took more than a decade, but I’ve now developed numerous procedures that seem to do just that, in many cases. No devices or products are involved, only soft tissue reflexes.

One day I accidentally observed after doing a neurological reflex on a patient that an upper trapezius trigger point that she had for 20 years immediately disappeared. On follow up visits it never returned. I applied this and other techniques to many patients and found they consistently eliminated chronic and acute trigger points, usually in seconds. Often the patient’s chronic and acute pain and other symptoms vanished, as well.

I’ve discovered a series of techniques that combine several simple, standard neurological reflexes that often quickly change the tone in a painful muscle, eliminating many chronic exquisitely painful areas and symptoms. The doctors and practitioners (D.C.s, L.Acs, M.D.s, D.O.s, P.T.s, N.D.s and body workers) who have taken my course on Pain Neutralization Techniques™ (P.N.T.) acclaim this as a major breakthrough in the treatment of pain. Many of these doctors have extensive training in most of the other healing techniques taught. Most have practiced for decades.

A word about pain: although many report rapid improvement in pain, these procedures do NOT just cover up pain! They work in many cases by correcting the cause of the chronic or acute pain, which is often muscular dysfunction. Our procedures are NOT THE SAME as any other technique!!! They are completely DIFFERENT from Nimmo, Travell, myofascial release, strain counter strain, or any other type of treatment! They are a totally new approach to turning off the problem, not covering it up! Most patients need several treatments for lasting benefit.

Neuro Emotional Technique - NET, NAET

- Personally trained in Levels 1-5 with Dr. Walker

NET is a mind-body technique that uses a methodology of finding and removing neurological imbalances related to the physiology of unresolved stress. NET is a tool that can help improve many behavioral and physical conditions.

What Can NET Treat?

NET Practitioners are nearly unlimited in their ability to address the physical and behavioral stress-related conditions of their patients. These conditions include headaches, body pains, phobias, general anxiety, self-sabotaging behaviors, organ dysfunctions and so much more. It’s important to note that NET does not cure or heal the patient, but rather, NET removes blocks to the natural vitalism of the body, “allowing” the body to repair itself naturally.

How Does NET Work?

NET is based on the physiological foundations of stress-related responses. As discovered in the late 1970s, emotional responses are composed of neuropeptides (amino acid chains) and their receptors, which lie on neurons and other cells of remote tissues in the body. The neuropeptides are ejected from the neuron and carry the encoded "information" to other sites within the body. These neuropeptides are in a category of neurochemicals known as Information Substances (IS). ISs are released at times of stress-related arousal and become attached to remotely-positioned neuroreceptors.

Significantly, this process also happens when a person recalls to memory an event in which a stress originally occurred. This is a key factor in the NET treatment. Thus, the physiological status of the body is emotionally replicating a similar physiological state that was found in the original conditioning event by the process of remembering.

Here’s a classic example of how a physiological response can be associated with a memory: Visualize a lemon . . . go ahead . . . try it. Now, think about cutting into that lemon — smell the lemony scent and see the juice running down the sides of the lemon. Now, squeeze some of the lemon’s juice into your mouth and take a big bite of the lemon. Is your mouth watering? If you’re like most people, it is, and what you’re experiencing is a physiological response to the memory of a lemon. The body’s response to stress works in a similar way.

The conditioning process is based on the principles of the great physiologist Pavlov, who demonstrated that an organism can be physiologically stimulated by a previously ineffective stimulus. For example, a bell normally does not stimulate salivary secretion. However, a bell may stimulate salivary secretion if the animal has been conditioned by associating the sound of a bell with the sight or smell of meat.

Also, it is normal that after a time of having the bell ring with no food association, the secretion of saliva (a physiological process) will stop. This is known as extinction. If the physiology of the animal is out of balance at the time of conditioning, the normal process of extinction may not take place, thus allowing for recurrent stimulation and an aberrant physiology. The physiology of the mind-body dynamic can work in a similar way. In most cases an emotional response to a given stimulus is normal and healthy. However, there can be instances where this normal emotional response fails to complete its full cycle (extinction does not take place), and then we can have an aberrant response to a future similar stimulus. In NET we call these aberrations Neuro Emotional Complex (NECs)

NAET (Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique)

Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques or NAET for short, is a holistic, non-invasive treatment used in eliminating food and environmental allergies permanently. It was discovered by Dr. Devi S. Nambudripad, in Buena Park, California. An acupuncturist, chiropractor, kinesiologist and a registered nurse, Dr. Nambudripad, began conducting research in 1984. Her Goal: Solve physical problems which had plagued her since birth and help others with similar problems. Her research resulted in the development of a new and effective approach for diagnosis and elimination of allergies of all types. Dr. Nambudripad utilized existing medical knowledge from various fields of medicine and combined this with her own discoveries.
This information on NAET is offered as a reference only. Keep in mind that Lisa now uses NMT for allergy elimination and considers it even more effective.

If your child, or someone you love, is plagued by chronic symptoms and/or repeatedly presents “problem” behaviors – ongoing cold symptoms, extreme anger, trouble sleeping, eczema, difficulty paying attention, hyperactive – it’s highly possible that something they are eating, breathing, wearing, or in contact with, is contributing to their difficulty. If they’ve always felt or acted this way, they may not even realize other options are available to them. Sometimes they can’t find the words or the concept to convey what’s going on, and their bodies take over – showing us, in a myriad of ways, that something’s not right. Imagine how bad it must be for them – in the midst of a school day or out doing errands with your – while feeling so out of balance. If they act out, get angry, don’t pay attention, or melt down sometimes it’s the only way they can think of to ask for help.

A NEW VIEW ON ALLERGIES

The western medical perspective views allergies as an overreaction by the immune system. Standard treatments include desensitization using injections of allergenic substance, or controlling symptoms by the use of steroids and antihistamines. This can offer some relief to some people from some allergies, but often with unwanted side effects.

Dr. Nambudripad is a licensed Acupuncturist, Chiropractor and Kinesiologist, registered nurse and PhD. Born and raised in India, she suffered for years with a host of allergies. Combining her extensive training with her own experiences she has developed a unique approach that eliminates allergies, strengthens the immune system and enhances overall health. Her own allergies and symptoms are long gone – and she has helped thousands of other people lose their allergies and symptoms as well.

Her system, called Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques (NAET), defines an allergy as a condition of unusual sensitivity. In this context, the brain views the allergen as a threat to the body’s well-being, thereby disrupting the normal flow of electrical energy throughout the body. Essential communication via the central nervous system is impaired. A consistent blockage of this energy is the first step in a chain of events which can develop into an allergic response.

For some, allergens are easily identifiable and their symptoms appear clearly and promptly. For others living with chronic, cyclical, irresolvable symptoms, it’s not clear at all. The idea that what might be triggering the distress is an allergy is often met with surprise. According to Dr. Nambudripad, “Just about any health condition could be the result of an underlying allergy – headaches, backaches, chronic coughs, attention deficit disorder, indigestion, infertility, depress, etc.” If a substance is disrupting the body’s energy flow, thereby initiating imbalance and strain, it makes sense that unless you’ve “cleared” that substance from our body, no amount of other symptom-related help will bring consistent relief.

And that’s precisely what NAET does. Through its systematic testing and clearing process, it eliminates, one by one, the multitude of substances that could be disabling the inherently fine functioning of a body. There are ten basic substances that need to be cleared. The treatments start with eggs, continue with calcium, vitamin C, the B-complex, sugar, iron, vitamin A, mineral mix, salt mix and corn mix, and end with grain mix. After that, the number of additional treatments necessary correspond to the individual’s response.

Each treatment involves holding a sample of the substance in a small glass vial while being muscle tested to determine specific areas of weakness/reaction in the body. Then a series of manipulations are done along the spine. Next, six acupuncture points are stimulated for a period of 20 minutes while you rest, still holding the vial. After this, you are muscle tested again and asked to completely avoid that substance for a period of 25 hours. Upon you next visit you are muscle tested to confirm that you have cleared the previous substance, then you move on to the next. Once a substance is cleared, it can be ingested again. Occasionally repeat treatments for certain substances are necessary.

For some there are dramatic and immediate results following the clearing of a certain substance. For others, changes are more gradual. NAET has elicited enough positive change that the National Institute of Health in Washington, D.C. is awaiting the results of NAET studies being done with cancer patients. NAET has helped considerably with the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation, as well as offering general benefits (including remissions) to some dealing with cancer.

THREE SUCCESS STORIES

(2001 Based on information received from three different parents whose children benefited greatly from NAET treatments given by Dr Danielle Hampton, D.O. M.)J

Tom suffered excessive abuse as a little one, before being adopted by a parent who was better able to love an support him. Even in a better environment, his levels of anger and expressions of outrage were frightening and difficult to handle. He had auditory and visual hallucinations. He couldn’t communicate well with peers or adults and so spent most of his time alone. He also suffered from asthma and was allergic to hay. At age 15 he underwent psychiatric testing and was diagnosed as having schizophrenic tendencies. He was put on Zyprexa, an anti-psychotic drug. The prescribed dose of one capsule daily completely knocked him out, causing him to sleep through days and nights. Reducing the dose by half still left him quite sluggish and sleepy. During this time, however, his family noticed that his anger was greatly lessened.

While his decrease in anger was a big relief, seeing her son so sluggish and miserable was not easy for his mother to bear. She had benefited from NAET, and her intuition was telling her that Tom would also benefit from these treatments. Tom began NAET in May, 2000, and continued week by week through the end of December 2000. His mother reports steady changes and improvements throughout the whole time. His moods changed and his general disposition was happier. He began making friends with peers and adults, and in general he became more relaxed and talkative. His hallucinations stopped. In mid-November he further reduced his anti-psychotic medication to one-quarter capsule. It’s been two months now that Tom has stopped the NAET treatments. At a recent medical checkup his doctor found no evidence of asthma. His symptoms of hay allergies have also stopped. Most noticeable is the continued absence of intense fits of anger, and all of the positive changes noted above remain.

Jill was four years old in the winter of 2000, and she had nonstop cold symptoms – runny nose, low fever, and persistent couth – for most of the season. Her mom paid a lot of attention to the food her daughter ate and made sure she got plenty of rest, but nothing cleared her ongoing cold. In the fall of 2000 Jill’s cough was back and her mother decided to try NAET treatments, wanting to avoid another winter of nonstop sickness. In on of the more dramatic cases, Jill’s cough stopped and never returned after the first treatment. She has gone on to do the first six of the basic ten treatments. Her mother happily reports that even with Jill starting pre-school this past fall, she’s had absolutely no cold symptoms at all!

Early in Bob’s life, his family noticed he was very angry, had a short attention span and tended to be hyperactive. Any direction or suggestion from an adult was met with hostile, confrontational responses. After a series of troubles in school when he was seven years old, he was tested by a psychiatrist and diagnosed as having ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder). For the next year and a half, Bob was put sequentially on Lithium, Wellbutrin and Prozac. Each drug provided some small behavior changes for a short period of time. But they also produced unwanted side effects such as excessive weight gain, a marked decrease in alertness, and a noticeable increase in behaviors his family describes as “mean”.

Concerned they had run out of workable options, Bob, then eight and a half, started the NAET series during the summer. A few months later, when he was back in school, his teacher immediately noticed a big change from the two previous years. Bob had calmed down, his attention span was greater and he was getting along with peers and adults better. He continued with the NAET treatments for almost a year. His family reports he is more relaxed, happier and alert, and he is able to sit still and focus – something that was close to impossible a year ago. When his anger comes up, he is able to express it and handle it well. His family now says his “sweetness” really shows.

Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques are not prescribed here a magic bullet that will banish all ills. Good health is often the result of a wide variety of factors. But for children and grownups alike, it may be worthwhile considering that chronic or acute ailments that don’t respond to other modalities may be due to unknown allergies. NAET offers a simple, non-invasive, side effect-free way to resolve what up until this point may have felt like never-ending difficulties.

FASTER EFT

Based on impressive new discoveries involving the body’s subtle energies, EFT has been proven clinically effective (over 80%) for Trauma, Abuse, Stress, Anxiety, Fears, Phobias, Depression, Grief, Addictive Cravings, Children’s Issues and hundreds of physical symptoms including headaches, body pains and breathing difficulties. It is the missing piece to the healing puzzle.

In simplest terms, EFT is an emotional form of acupuncture except that we don’t use needles. Instead, we tap with the fingertips to stimulate certain meridian points while the client is “tuned in” to the problem. We are still learning why EFT (and its many cousins) work so well. The existing theory is that “the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.”

The subtle energies that circulate throughout the body have been largely ignored (until recently) by western scientists. As a result, our use of them for emotional and spiritual healing has been sparse at best. With EFT, however, we consider these subtle energies to be the front running cause of emotional upsets. As a result, we generate results that are FAR beyond those of conventional methods.

Further, EFT often provides relief for a very wide range of physical symptoms. This, too, is abundantly clear in our case histories, which provide unmistakable evidence of the link between our physical ailments and our emotional issues. EFT is a Doorway to the new Healing High-Rise. It is where a growing number of newcomers to this exciting field get their start. We now have thousands of practitioners using EFT throughout the world. Often works where nothing else will.Usually rapid, long lasting and gentle. No drugs or equipment involved.Easily learned by anyone. Can be self applied.

Total Body Modification - TBM

- Personally trained by Dr. Victor Frank

Total Body Modification (TBM) is a comprehensive system of alternative healing compiled by Victor L. Frank, DC, NMD and first taught in 1978. As a trained chiropractor, naturopath, osteopath, charter diplomate of Applied Kinesiology and a radionics practitioner, Dr. Frank was able to create a synthesis of the healing arts that is unparalleled in scope, effectiveness and efficiency.

Drawing from the alternative medicine roots planted by Franz Anton Mesmer, MD, in 1766, Dr. Frank developed an integrative approach to restoring the body’s self-regulation and, thereby, healing capacity by working through the autonomic nervous system. TBM rapidly restores function-specific and global energetic harmony to the human body resulting in seemingly miraculous, yet predictable, changes in a patients’ state of health.

Applied Kinesiology

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a system that evaluates structural, chemical and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing combined with other standard methods of diagnosis. AK, a non-invasive system of evaluating body function that is unique in the healing arts, has become a dynamic movement in health care in its relatively short existence.

The combined terms “applied” and “kinesiology” describe the basis of this system, which is the use of manual muscle testing to evaluate body function through the dynamics of the musculoskeletal system. Treatments may involve specific joint manipulation or mobilization, various myofascial therapies, cranial techniques, meridian and acupuncture skills, clinical nutrition, dietary management, counseling skills, evaluating environmental irritants and various reflex procedures.

Deep Tissue Massage

Overview

Deep-tissue massage is a specific type of massage therapy that concentrates on the deep layers of muscle and fascia in the body; and recommended by many doctors as a treatment option. By using deep finger pressure and slow, firm strokes, deep tissue massage is used to treat a variety of physical ailments.

Reduces Chronic Pain

The University of Maryland Medical Center reports that deep-tissue massage is more effective and affordable for relieving chronic pain than conventional medical remedies. Because deep-tissue massage increases the flow of blood through through the body, it helps reduce the inflammation that causes pain. Deep-tissue massage can also help alleviate muscle tension that is often a side effect of chronic pain by loosening the tight tissue clusters.

Improves Blood Pressure

Deep-tissue massage helps ease stress and tension, which can have a beneficial effect on blood pressure. People who had a deep-tissue massage saw their systolic pressure drop by an average of 10.4 mm Hg and their diastolic pressure drop an average 5.3 mm Hg, according to a study cited by the University of Maryland Medical Center. Deep-tissue massage can help increase the body's production of serotonin, the hormone that promotes happiness and good feelings.

Distance Healing

Distance Field Therapy

Living beings are permeated and surrounded by a universal energy field or aura. Energy therapies utilize this force to precipitate changes in a person’s physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Because we are all connected through the Universal Energy Field, it is possible to detect an individual’s state-of-being across space. In our practice, we have come to recognize that distance between healer and client is irrelevant, and that with practice and training, distance healing is an effective tool in establishing balance and well-being in individuals.

The ability of the therapist to sense the energy field of the client, and the defects therein, is not limited by distance, nor is the therapist’s ability to focus energy. It is possible to give a very effective and beneficial distance healing treatment to a client in a remote location, even thousands of miles away. There will be times when it becomes necessary for long distance therapy, with certain clients who are often at remote locations or might have health problems and cannot come for an in-person treatment.

Distance healing treatments are conducted in a manner similar to in-person treatments. We recommend that you consider this healing time as sacred and set aside the space and time not to be disturbed.

Forgiveness

What do you think of when you hear the word forgiveness? How do you respond to it? Is it a word you’re drawn to, or is it a word that you rebel against? Does it bring up emotion? What do you think it means? For some there may be an association of forgiveness with a stringent religious connotation, or a belief that you will be asked to feel something that you don’t feel, or a belief that if you practice forgiveness that it somehow negates the suffering that you have experienced or lets a wrong-doer off the hook.

After many years of practice, I have found that the deepest point of most healing is in fact rooted in forgiveness and primarily self-forgiveness. In my experience, practicing forgiveness is a clear and necessary step in moving toward what you want more of. I have also found that there is a lot of misconception about what the word means – and consequently a lot of resistance to practicing forgiveness.

The Oxford English Dictionary defines forgiveness as “to grant free pardon and to give up all claim on account of an offense or debt.” One of the things I find fascinating about this definition is that nowhere in the definition does it say that forgiveness is an emotion or a feeling. That means that the emotions you may be feeling about a situation have nothing to do with the decision to forgive any aspect about it.

In addition, the etymology of the word “forgive” is for + gifan. “Gifan” is from the Old English and it means to give, bestow, allot, grant, devote, or entrust. The word “for” gives strength to the word with which it is paired and adds the meaning of “very”. So the true meaning of forgiveness is something like to be very giving, or to give forward.

Another interesting consideration is that Mayo clinic has listed these benefits of practicing forgiveness: Lower blood pressure, Stress reduction, Less hostility, Better anger management skills, Lower heart rate, Lower risk of alcohol or substance abuse, Fewer depression symptoms, Fewer anxiety symptoms, Reduction in chronic pain, More friendships, Healthier relationships, Greater religious or spiritual well-being. Isn’t it amazing that a simple internal decision can have such a huge impact on your physiology and emotional wellbeing. It doesn’t require a change in diet, or exercise or supplement or medication.

As you move through life, you have many experiences… some of them are traumatic, some joyful, some sad etc. The judgments and beliefs you make about what happens actually form structures in your energetic field. These structures are like walls and as such guide the decisions you make. So, you may find yourself in repeated limited patterns in your life asking questions like, “Why do I keep repeating the same relationship over and over? Or why don’t I feel a sense of fulfillment in my life? Or why do I feel so angry so much of the time?”

Here is an example: A child is born to alcoholic parents. At a very young age the child learns that if she doesn’t make waves, doesn’t express herself too much or too loudly, that if she just makes nice, that she gets more loving, stays safe, and avoids getting hurt. A key point is that, at the time the child makes that decision, it is a reasonable one. Perhaps the child does get more loving, and avoids getting hurt because she learned how to stay quiet and under the radar. Later however, the child is grown up and finds that she isn’t able to progress in her career, or relationship. The belief “staying small and not expressing myself too much keeps me safe” is now a block. It is a limiting belief. And what’s more is that once she has a limiting belief in place inwardly, the outer world is held by the same structures. There is no distinction between her inner and outer experience.

So, now not only does she need to stay small, but in order for her reality to stay valid, everyone else does too. That means that she might find herself having difficulty tolerating people who are too expressive or bold. She might even become resentful of them because they don’t fit in her idea of acceptable behavior. But the reality is, that she is feeling disturbed because the outer manifestation of the world is not matching her expectations based on an internal belief system.

Limiting beliefs can keep you from experiencing your heart’s desire. At the time these beliefs got formed they may have been useful. They served a purpose which often has to do with survival…mentally, emotionally and so forth. It is important to note here that you are the one who forms your own limiting beliefs. And so in order to make any change, you must forgive yourself first. When we forgive, we are choosing to let go of our attachment to a point of view or a way of being. The result is that we have more freedom to live from our heart.

When we forgive, we are giving ourselves forward to the greater part of who we are. Let’s just say that I have a belief about myself that I am not enough. Now, if I go ahead and say, “I forgive myself for believing that I am not enough.” Who is doing the forgiving? Well, I am. So that means that the “I am” is bigger than the not-enough-ness. So that means that when I am forgiving, I am expanding into the greater part of who I am rather align with the limitation. Forgiving is an expansive process.

Forgiveness is the process of unfolding your love for yourself. When we remove all distractions that is what we experience. We let the distractions get in our way, and we start to believe that the judgments we have are more important or more valid the greater part of who we are. We have forgotten that at first, we are love and light and peace.

Forgiveness does not directly produce what we want, but it removes the obstacles that stand in our way from experiencing what we want. It helps us to see the illusion that is running our lives. We often think these illusions are the truth of who we are, so they are hard to change because part of us thinks that if we change we will die. At the very bottom line it is usually fear of annihilation that keeps us in limiting patterns. Once we realize that these illusions are not the truth of us, we can make different choices. Forgiveness is an intentional act of healing.

Five Steps to Forgiveness

  1. I forgive myself for feeling ________ about this situation.
  2. I allow the other person to forgive me for any part I had in feeling ________.
  3. I forgive the universe for my feeling ______________.
  4. From this situation, I have learned this lesson: _____________
    (phrased in the positive)
  5. And... I am thankful for this experience because of this amazing lesson that it taught me.

NeuroModulation Technique - NMT

- Personally trained by Dr. L. Feinberg

NeuroModulation Technique is an alternative medicine method of healing unique in all the world of health care. It is based upon widely accepted neurophysiological models. NeuroModulation Technique is a system of healing that will enable the doctor to treat conditions well out of the reach of traditional methods. It is the product of 20 years of study of all the various energetic techniques such as TBM, NAET, NET, JMT, BEST, and many others. We have known that these methods produced results but the results were inconsistent, improving from the earlier methods to the more recent of these methods such as JMT. Their goal has been to correct faulty functioning in the autonomic system responsible for many diseases and musculoskeletal conditions. One glaring problem that has kept many doctors away from these methods is that they are based on the use of radionically charged vials and seemingly arbitrary reflex points. In studying these early techniques, Leslie S. Feinberg, the NeuroModulation Technique founder, made the decision to suspend disbelief and learn the methods to find out what it was that worked about them, and what was nonsense. After all, sometimes we find in the world of medical education that someone has found something that works; but doesn’t understand why it works. Some techniques have started this way and the originators have simply imagined their way to a whole complex of unsupportable and arbitrary procedures to teach.

“As a man who has devoted his whole life to the most clear headed science to the study of matter, I can tell you as a result of my research about atoms this much. There is no matter as such. All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force, which brings the particles of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter” – from his Nobel Prize for Physics acceptance speech. Max Planck

How Was NeuroModulation Technique Developed?

NeuroModulation Technique as an alternative medicine is a proprietary system of health care treatment based upon a method of accessing and assessing the autonomic control system of the patient through muscle response testing utilizing verbal and/or non-verbal semantic questions and statements. Performance of that autonomic system is modulated with a combination of verbal and/or non-verbal corrective commands and statements. This process is further augmented and reinforced with percussive or other stimulation of vertebral segments, specific breathing patterns, and other sensory stimuli. It is based upon widely accepted neurophysiological models. There are no vials, special reflex points, or potions used. We approach very literally the proposition that the closest analogy to the human nervous system generally recognized principles of neurophysiology, physiology, psychology, linguistics, and anatomy and constitutes a unique and proprietary system of health care protected by applicable laws of United States patent, copyright, and trademark laws.

NeuroModulation Technique produces instantaneous and profound results in virtually all forms of illness which are provoked by faults in the function of the autonomic nervous system. This list includes all allergies, chronic degenerative diseases such as all forms of arthritis; multiple sclerosis and other demylenating diseases; Crohn’s disease, IBS, and gastric reflux disease; infectious disease processes; all autoimmune diseases; acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions; addictions, emotional, psychological and sensory/motor neurologic disturbances. Even classic orthopedic and neurologic signs and tests take on a whole new meaning when you see these tests turn from positive at first examination of the patient to negative at the end of treatment – yet the patient has not been manipulated, or subjected to any form of physical therapy. Pain disappears instantly, spasm melts like a dusting of snow in the afternoon sun, and range of motion releases as completely and profoundly as if the patient had been through weeks of therapy and rest. The patient’s autonomic nervous system has simply been accessed and modulated in the direction of normal function. NMT will change the way you look at illness. For many conditions illness now becomes a problem of data processing of the biocomputer. It is now subject to real time correction as you use NMT to reprogram and debug that biocomputer just as literally as you might the computer that sits on you desktop.Text from Neuromodulation Technique. About Us

Lisa Howie

An instinctive spirit and a passion for healing is at the core of my work. I get excited about results and I am thrilled to treat patients so that they can succeed in escaping from pain. Just as my clients are intent on seeing change, I am extremely motivated to produce results. Licensed in 2001, I continue to practice

multiple natural modalities to provide a pathway to success, including; Pain Neutralization Technique (PNT), Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique (BEST), Neuro Modulation Technique (NMT), Thai Massage, Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) + (NAET - for allergies), Psych-K, Total Body Modification (TBM), and Applied Kinesiology.

The foundation of my work started as a child, growing up with a warm and supportive family, and continued into adulthood. I have sought out effective methods of recovery and tools for restoring vibrant health and creating a sense of youthful well-being. Pairing innovation with intuition, I work to evaluate each client to understand missed connections with their framework, recognize points of interference, and restore the body to it’s intended state. Many clients walk away saying that their time with me is more than just a massage, it is an experience.

Away from the massage table, you will find me cultivating my own experiences, whether hiking, exploring Mother Nature, or getting lost in a good book. I look to nurture myself just as I work to heal others.
